Im Verbundprojekt haben sich sechs Projektpartner aus der Zulieferindustrie sowie aus Forschungseinrichtungen zusammengeschlossen, um die Gefahrenstelle Kreuzung durch dezentrale Kommunikation zu entschärfen. Unterstützt durch das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie erarbeiten sie in dreijähriger Forschungsarbeit bis Ende 2025 Lösungen, um das Ziel einer einfach skalierbaren und sicheren Automatisierung des Verkehrs durch dezentrale intelligente Fahrzeuge und geteiltes Erfahrungswissen zu erreichen. Schwerpunkte der Arbeit bilden Innovationen im Bereich der fahrzeugbasierten dezentralen Intelligenz, Backendmodelle für latenzunkritische Funktionen sowie die praktische Erprobung verschiedener Kreuzungsszenarien.
