本地藝文單位眾多，不論藝團、藝廊、公營機構等，均讓藝術家們有一地之遇，為作品尋求有緣人。而香港為國際矚目中心，城市人的心理壓力俱增，我們作為使用者，稀少為社區與都市停留，聆聽故事、創造故事 —— 發掘她的美。休廳始於2022年中，以藝術、工藝及設計概念為主要推動。尋找藝術家在都市中故事與感悟，創造與延續屬於城中人的空間，一同在休閑中欣賞城市點滴。休廳不定期舉辦小型展覽與文章分享，甚至獨立刊物出版。
