The company originated when founder Aaima Zain met with a group of designers in the local council of Sweden of Dalarna Falun. Swedish design is famous all over the world. Aaima Zain came to Sweden couple of years before and She studied about Design and business. After learning and understanding about Europe culture she thought to bring something unique into market and also help those women who craft these products in Pakistan. So she packed her bag and travelled to Pakistan to meet local women makers. “We are craftswomen, designers and dreamers who are working together to redefine how handcrafted shoes and accessories are made and delivered.” Each DePurl product reflects our philosophy that modern design is best brought to life through traditional craftsmen ship. Our craftswomen are themselves the product of an 1800 year old process of close learning and innovation.
