Het afgelopen jaar is een rumoerig jaar voor het Havenziekenhuis geweest. Dit heeft uiteindelijk geleid tot een sluiting van het wereldberoemde stadsziekenhuis te Rotterdam. De dermatologen van het Erasmus MC en Havenziekenhuis werken reeds een aantal jaar intensief samen en hebben besloten om een ‘doorstart’ te maken. In een recordtempo is de polikliniek dermatologie van het Havenziekenhuis omgetoverd in een zelfstandig behandelcentrum, genaamd DermaHaven.
DermaHaven is een 100% dochteronderneming van het Erasmus MC.
Deze stevige voet in de 2de lijnszorg staat ons toe om onze visie op netwerkgeneeskunde verder te ontwikkelen. Vanuit DermaHaven willen we de verbinding aangaan met andere perifere dermatologie maatschappen en klinieken, de samenwerking met verpleeghuizen en huisartsen concretiseren, en onze maatschappelijke bijdrage aan de stad Rotterdam vergroten. Het is onze invulling van het moderne mantra ‘juiste zorg, op de juiste plaats’.
