DerRaum e.V ist ein durch Studierende der Zeppelin Universität gegründeter, unabhängiger Kulturverein, welcher es sich zum Ziel gemacht hat, ein nicht kommerzieller Ort der Entfaltung für Alle Bewohnenden Friedrichshafens zu werden. Ein kleines Team von Freiwilligen möchte durch das Planen und die Umsetzung eines abwechslungsreichen Programms das Bewusstsein der Bewohner*innen für die geteilten städtischen Strukturen nachhaltig beeinflussen und eine künstlerische und kulturelle Stätte des Zusammenkommens schaffen.
DerRaum ist hierbei eine Art städtischer Intervention, die den Stadtraum durch musikalische, performative, visuelle und immer auch unkonventionelle Ideen an die Bedürfnisse aller Bewohnenden anpassen will. Er soll Entfremdung und Privatisierung langfristig entgegenwirken und im Herzen der Stadt eine kostenfreie Anlaufstelle sein.
