Der gemeinnützige Verein "Die Chirurginnen e.V." wurde am 5.1.2021 gegründet und am 02.02.2021 in das vereinsregister eingetragen. Seither netzwerken über 1000 Frauen, die in allen schneidenden Fächern ( Chirurgie, Orthopädie, HNO, Augenchirurgie, Gynäkologie, MKG) miteinander und unterstützen sich fachlich, sachlich und privat.
Dieses Netzwerk eignet sich nicht nur dazu, beruflich voran zu kommen, es dient nicht als Jammerplattform (wobei man auch seine Sorgen loswerden kann, aber das steht gar nicht so sehr im Fokus) sondern als phantastisches Miteinander, wo gegenseitige Hilfe, Unterstützung und ein wertschätzendes Miteinander gelebt wird
