The Digital Data Chain Consortium (DDCC) was formed in 2021 as a cross-industry association of meanwhile more than 50 companies. In our network, plant operators, service providers and manufacturers of machines and components work closely together. Our focus is on developing standards for automatic object identification and seamless, digital information exchange. Our goal is to make operational processes more efficient and automated so that all parties involved benefit from the new standards.
The DDCC was formed by the merger of the DIN SPEC 91406 consortium, the VDI Experts Council 2770 and the Digital Platforms Working Group. Through the synergy of these technologies, we enable unique object identification, seamless information flow and sustainable digital documentation.
