Das Digital Learning Culture Art Lab (DLC Art Lab) ist ein Projekt der Muthesius Kunsthochschule Kiel, das darauf abzielt, neue Technologien, kulturelle Bildung und digitales Lernen zu verbinden und mithilfe digitaler Gestaltung eine breite Teilhabe an der digitalen Transformation zu fördern.
Das DLC Art Lab findet an verschiedenen Lernorten statt:
- Der „Tiny Design School“, einer mobilen Designschule mit wechselnder Verortung aus Anlass konkreter Lernangebote.
- Einem „Muthesius Media Lab" in dem avancierte Technologien erprobt und erforscht werden können.
- Dem „Digital Citizens Space“, ein digitaler bzw. hybrider Ausstellungsraum an den Schleswig-Holsteinischen Landesmuseen Schloss Gottorf und Freilichtmuseum Molfsee.
Das Lernangebot reicht von kurzen Workshops zu Designprozessen und digitalen Gestaltungskompetenzen über Seminare im Bereich Designforschung bis hin zu Online-Seminaren und einem KI-Salon als Vernetzungs- und Austauschformat. Das DLC Art Lab will untersuchen, wie die Muthesius Kunsthochschule dazu beitragen kann, die demokratische Teilhabe an der digitalen Transformation zu fördern und gleichzeitig eine kritische Kultur der Gestaltung im Kontext der Digitalisierung zu entwickeln.
Gefördert wird das DLC Art Lab mit Mitteln der Europäischen Union ((EFRE) und des Landes Schleswig-Holstein als Lernort im Digital Learning Campus SH.
