Dormslist is a free website that enables college students to buy and sell used textbooks. It serves as an online textbook marketplace and trading center so students have a less expensive, more efficient alternative to online retailers and campus bookstores. Dormslist also offers an online retailer search in the occasion that a used textbook is unavailable so students can find all of their textbook buying/selling necessities all on one site. In the weeks after it launched, Dormslist reached thousands of registered users at Columbia and thousands of books sold through it. Dormslist has expanded to Barnard College, New York University, Ohio State University, and is currently in the process of expanding to other schools. In addition, Dormslist is expanding in features to become more than a textbooks and classifieds marketplace.
