Douglas Sweets makes traditional shortbread and other Scottish treats. Created from our family’s recipes these sweets are sure to please. Reward yourself or someone you love with a delicious treat. Made in Vermont. In 1956, my mother longed for the traditional Scottish shortbread she had grown to love while in the old country. After much experimenting she duplicated that perfect rich buttery taste. For years our family has been baking that same shortbread and enjoying it with friends. Douglas Sweets would like to share that same wonderful experience with you that so many others have grown to love. By using the finest Vermont ingredients in our shortbread and high-grade chocolates we have created products that we are proud of.
