DOYCH Ltd is a modern company, focused on the development, production and sale of innovative products, related to the health of people, auxiliary products and cosmetics, nutritional supplements, medical foods, and foods with special purpose. The company was established in 1993 with the opening of the first private production facility for “Auxiliary medical goods” in Republic of Bulgaria with 100% own capital.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Since January 1993, the company finances a scientific team of experts and participates in tests on the phar- macology of the dry snake venom from viper (Vipera Ammodytes) with the purpose of using the neurotoxins as analgesic in the field of malignant tumors, epilepsy, bronchial asthma, neuralgia, etc., as well as the use of the natural toxins in pharmaceuticals and agriculture. In the course of this work, with the assistance of associate professor Ivan Matev, Head of Department in the Thracian University in Stara Zagora, we isolated a neurotoxic fraction of the snake venom on the basis of own methodics. The pharmacological tests that were performed in Stara Zagora and in the Medical University Plovdiv, Department of Pharmacology, with Head - associate professor Georgiev, as well as the work of the entire team confirmed with certainty the mechanism of the effect of the dry snake venom from viper. A special laboratory was opened in the Medical University Plovdiv with Head of the Laboratory professor Toreva, MD, for quality assessment of the dry snake venom from viper.
