Dyrebar Omsorg driver med det som kalles dyreassisterte intervensjoner (DAI), som er et samlebegrep for tiltak som nyttiggjør seg av de positive effektene omgang med dyr kan ha på oss mennesker. Et eksempel de fleste nok kjenner til, er besøkshund på sykehjem, men DAI innbefatter mye mer enn det. Helt siden 2007 har vi utdannet, kvalitetssikret, fulgt opp og formidlet DAI, slik at flest mulig mennesker i alle aldre kan få gleden av samhandling med dyr. Hittil har vi fokusert mest på hund, og noe katt, men fra 2018 inkluderes også andre husdyr.
