Stichting E-hulp.nl stimuleerde en ontwikkelde hulp op maat via nieuwe media. Dit deed ze in samenwerking met of in opdracht van zorg-, welzijn, of educatieve instellingen.

Daarnaast hielp E-hulp.nl instellingen bij het opzetten en verbeteren van hun online hulpaanbod. Advies had betrekking op conceptontwikkeling van het aanbod, technisch, juridische en veiligheidsaspecten, de interne organisatie, de methodische kant van hulpverlening via de computer, training van de medewerkers in deze methodiek, onderzoek naar de wensen van de doelgroep en tevens effectiviteitsonderzoek.
