E3Mobility develops, manufactures, and sells ZEEC (Zero Emission EV Charging System), which is an off-grid EV charger.
Off-grid enables to disconnect to power lines provided by electricity companies and to charge EVs directly with electricity generated by solar panels. ZEEC achieves to charge EVs with 100% pure renewable energy without any mixing of power derived from thermal energy.

Global warming and climate change issues, such as desertification and sea-level change, are threatening our lives, causing economic losses in the trillions of dollars globally. It is not only affecting humans, but is also damaging entire ecosystems through accelerating mass extinctions and devastating vegetation.
On top of that, mobility, which accounts for about 20% of total CO2 emissions, is the prominent cause of this issue, which turns out to promote EVs with the claim that "EVs are environmentally friendly because they emit zero CO2."
However, are these stereotypes really true?
As of 2023, about 70% of Japan's electricity is supplied by thermal power generation, which implies that EVs emit CO2 as long as they are charged with electricity from energy companies. Even if you use an "environmentally conscious energy company" with non-fossil certificate, the electricity supplied at night when most people charge their EVs comes from fossil fuels.
Again, as long as EVs are charged conventionally, we continue to emit CO2.
