eCampusAlberta is a consortium of 26 Alberta post-secondary institutions that was established in 2002 to facilitate greater access to high-quality online learning opportunities. The organization enables students from across the province to access more than 70 accredited online certificate, diploma and applied degree programs and 900 individual courses offered by the member institutes. eCampusAlberta works to extend the reach of Alberta’s post-secondary education system across the province. The provincial Ministry of Innovation and Advanced Education has endorsed online education delivery as a critical component of Alberta’s post-secondary system and supports eCampusAlberta in its work with member institutes to advance this objective. eCampusAlberta member institutions include: Alberta College of Art and Design, Ambrose University, Athabasca University, Bow Valley College, Canadian University College, Concordia University College of Alberta, Grande Prairie Regional College, Keyano Collage, Lakeland College, Lethbridge College, MacEwan University, Medicine Hat College, Mount Royal University, NorQuest College, NAIT, Northern Lakes College, Olds College, Portage College, Red Deer College, SAIT Polytechnic, St. Mary’s University College, The Banff Centre, The King’s University College, University of Alberta, University of Calgary, and University of Lethbridge.
