Edboost se creó en el verano de 2021 para dar apoyo a alumnos de teleco en asignaturas de cara a las recuperaciones. En ese verano se dieron 3 asignaturas cada una impartida por un profesor y con un total de 20 alumnos.
Simplemente este negocio se creó para testear que a los alumnos les gustaba un modelo de academia completamente online, en la que el profesor explica desde casa.
