Edinburgh Advanced Toastmasters (EAT) is part of Toastmasters International, a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping members become better speakers and leaders.
Although EAT is an advanced club, it's neither elitist nor stuffy. We manage to have fun, at the same time giving everyone with an opportunity to speak. Speakers improve with in-depth open evaluations-even the General Evaluator is evaluated; and impromptu Table Topics.
The club meets on the 2nd Monday of every month. We welcome visitors, especially from other Toastmasters clubs. To become a member, you must belong to another Toastmasters club and have completed 8 or more speeches in the Toastmasters education programme.
