Edinburgh Eagles are a community Rugby League team and the only founder member club of Scotland Rugby League still playing. We are current Scottish Champions - an honour won 10 times since formation in 1998, including every year for the past 4 years. Edinburgh Eagles play in the Scotland Men's Premiership and recently launched a Master team aimed at attracting men over 35 into becoming involved in sport.
The open age team boasts a number of full, student & U18 internationals.
Edinburgh Eagles are on a journey to progress the club both on and off the field to achieve strategic aims of;
-integrating the club into our local community and the wider Rugby League family,
-promoting the mental & physical benefits of sport,
-maintaining Rugby League as an accessible and inclusive sport,
-helping Scotland Rugby League with their aim developing an integrated player pathway from U16 to U19 to Open age and international by providing training and playing opportunities .
