Education4 is a technology driven platform for initial teacher training with the sole ambition to attract, train and retain outstanding and passionate educators within further education and the skills sector through fully remote inclusive and innovative trailblazer teaching apprenticeships.
Recognising that many current and outgoing initial teacher training programmes lack a focus on the fourth Industrial revolution that is influencing the future of education, the labour market and society as a whole we wanted to overhaul how we teach, how we train, how we answer the question of ‘what does good actually look like in our education system?’
Today's teaching landscape demands professionals who are adept in both knowledge and practice, including excellent digital literacy and application. With societal shifts, especially those driven by the pandemic, the educational scene has transformed. Therefore, our aim with Education4 is to align with Jisc’s Education 4.0 strategy of transforming the future of education through advanced technology and the UK Government’s 2019 regulation for the Fourth Industrial Revolution ensuring no teacher or student is left behind in this digital era.
