Welcome to the LinkedIn handle of the Ecology, Economy and Society – the INSEE Journal. This is the flagship journal of the Indian Society for Ecological Economics (INSEE), established in 1999, with the registered office at the Institute of Economic Growth, University Enclave, Delhi, India.
EES was launched in 2018. Its primary aim is to create and nurture a forum for researchers, especially the early career academic workers and those from/ working at the global South, working in the interdisciplinary space at the interface of biological and social sciences.
The journal is peer-reviewed. It is indexed in the Scopus and AgEcon databases and Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). Google scholar recognises the journal title. For its registration with ISSN and Crossref, EES publications are available on ResearchGate. EES is archived at the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network (PKP PN).
EES is diamond open access. It is accessible to all readers and it does not impose any kind of charge on the authors. Several members of INSEE contribute their voluntary labour to sustain this.
All publications of EES must satisfy three universal benchmarks: academic rigour, logical consistency, expositional clarity.
