For NYC based buildings greater than 25,000 SF in size, EEC offers a comprehensive suite of services for building owners and management companies to ensure compliance with Local Laws 33, 84, 85, 87, 88 and 133.
EEC also provides commissioning services for new construction and retrofit / rehabilitation projects nation-wide. Besides being mandatory under many jurisdictions local laws or building energy codes, commissioning proactively identifies and solves problems before they disrupt a successful project. Properly commissioned buildings typically have fewer change orders, are more energy efficient, and have lower operation and maintenance costs. Combined energy and operational savings can result in zero or net negative project costs with minimal payback periods.
Efficient Energy Compliance staff are also experts in the International Energy Conservation Code which is the basis for numerous state-wide energy codes including New York, Florida and Massachusetts and city-wide codes in New York City, Boston and Miami.
