Elementree Group Limited ("Elementree") is an Australian company formed with the aim of becoming the leading provider of carbon and renewable biomass plantations in Australia. The Company specializes in the design, establishment and management of integrated agro-forestry systems for the production of carbon sequestration and renewable biomass. The Company enters long-term lease agreements over large tracts of privately-owned farm land for the development of these agro-forestry systems. The Company sources investment in the plantations from major corporations and institutional investors seeking to secure a long-term supply of high-quality carbon credits and/or renewable biomass, at a discount to the market. The Company charges fees for the provision of plantation design, establishment, management, marketing, harvesting and biomass handling (as appropriate) under long-term Forestry Services Agreements (FSA) with the forest investor. The Company was a fully-accredited provider of greenhouse abatement certificates under the Australian Federal Government's Greenhouse Friendly™ Scheme.
