Elephant Care c'est un groupe d'étudiants agissant pour la protection des éléphants maltraités en Thaïlande. Notre objectif : Sensibiliser et alerter sur l'envers du décors du tourisme thaïlandais.
QUE FAISONS NOUS ?
Nous organisons chaque année des campagnes de crowdfunding au profit de notre ONG partenaire le CNF (Conserve Natural Forest).
De plus, nous sommes conscient du rôle à jouer de la nouvelle génération.
C'est pour quoi nous organisons régulièrement des interventions de sensibilisation au sein des écoles primaires.
POURQUOI NOUS AGISSONS ?
Sur 4000 éléphants recensés en Thaïlande environ 3000 servent d’attraction touristique. Mais, pour les domestiquer, les pachydermes subissent le rituel du «phajaan» qui consiste à les briser physiquement et mentalement.
