Lokalna grupa ELSA Niš osnovana je 2016. godine na Pravnom fakultetu Univerziteta u Nišu i deo je najveće strukovne studentske organizacije u zemlji. Tokom svih godina svog postojanja nastoji da pomaže razvoj mladih pravnika i studenata prava kroz simulacije suđenja, studijske posete relevantnim institucijama, predavanja i tribine, seminare i konferencije, debate, pronalaženje praksi za studente i slično.
Evropsko udruženje studenata prava (European Law Students' Association - ELSA) je međunarodno, nepolitičko, nezavisno i neprofitno udruženje studenata prava i mladih pravnika okupljenih radi uspostavljanja, unapređivanja i razvijanja međunarodnog razumevanja, saradnje i ličnih kontakata između studenata prava i mladih pravnika iz različitih država i pravnih sistema, kao i njihovog pripremanja za profesionalni život u međunarodnom okruženju.
ELSA ostvaruje svoje ciljeve u svim državama Evrope i pojedinim državama van evropskog kontinenta, sa preko 60.000 članova i članica.

Local group ELSA Niš was founded in 2016 at the Faculty of Law, University of Niš and as such it is a part of the largest professional student organization in the country. During all of the years of its existence its aim has been to help the development of young lawyers and law students through mock trials, study visits to relevant institutions, lectures and roundtables, seminars and conferences, debates, finding internships for the students etc.
ELSA is a non-political, independent, non-profit-making association the aims of which are to promote, establish and develop mutual understanding, cooperation and personal contacts between law students and young lawyers from different states and legal systems, thereby empowering them for professional life in an international environment.
ELSA is achieving its goals in all European countries and some countries outside of the European continent with more than 60.000 members.
