Evropsko udruženje studenata prava (European Law Students' Association - ELSA) je međunarodno, nepolitičko, nezavisno i neprofitno udruzenje studenata prava i mladih
pravnika okuplienih radi uspostavijanja, unapređivanja i razvijanja medunarodnog razumevanja, saradnje i ličnih kontakata izmedu studenata prava i mladih pravnika iz različitih država i pravnih sistema, kao i njihovo pripremanje za profesionalni život u međunarodnom okruženju.
ELSA ostvaruje svoje ciljeve u svim državama Evrope i pojedinim državama van evropskog kontinenta, sa preko 40.000 članova i članica.
ELSA Beograd, kao lokalna grupa, postoji od 1987. godine i najveća je strukovna, studentska organizacija u zemiji. Svoje ciljeve ostvaruje obavijajući različite aktivnosti kao što su pronalazenje studentskih praksi za studente i studentkinje Pravnog fakulteta Univerziteta u Beogradu u zemiji i inostranstvu, organizacija seminara i konferencija, kurseva, studijskih poseta, simulacija suđenja, okruglih stolova, tribina, poseta relevantnim državnim institucijama i sl.
ELSA is a non-political, independent, non-profit-making association the aims of which are to promote, establish and develop mutual understanding, co-operation and personal contacts between law students and young lawyers from different states and legal systems, thereby equipping them for professional life in an international environment.
ELSA is achieving its objectives in all European countries and some countries outside the European continent, with more than 40,000 members.
ELSA Belgrade, as a local group, exists since 198/ and is the largest professional student organization in the country. It achieves its goals by doing various activities such as finding internships for the students of the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade - in Serbia and abroad, organization of seminars and conferences, training courses, study visits, mock trial, roundtables, debates, visits to relevant government institutions etc.
