EM-BOLT® is the innovation of Tim Hardy PE, a registered structural engineer who has practiced engineering since 1995. Mr. Hardy is the founder and owner of Hardy Structural Engineering (HSE), a small well-respected structural engineering firm founded in 2003 and located in northern Vermont. EM-BOLT is produced by Jen-Col Innovations (JCI), also owned and operated by Mr. Hardy.
EM-BOLT is a pre-fabricated boltable embed plate that eliminates on-site field welding when attaching steel beams to cast-in-place or pre-cast concrete.
