Wir bringen Jugendliche mit den unterschiedlichsten Hintergründen und Lebenserfahrungen zusammen – unabhängig von ihren Noten. Voraussetzung ist allein Neugier auf andere und der Spaß am Austausch. Damit stärkt Empathy das Selbstbewusstsein aller Teilnehmenden und den Blick auf eigene und fremde Lebenswelten. Gemeinsam lernen die Jugendlichen dabei gesellschaftliche Werte, insbesondere Empathie, Toleranz, Offenheit und Hilfsbereitschaft. So fördern wir Jugendliche ideell und finanziell in ihrer persönlichen und beruflichen Entwicklung.
Das Engagement von Empathy hat vier Säulen:
(1) Events. Bei regelmäßigen Events wird gesellschaftspolitisches, kulturelles und wirtschaftliches Wissen an die Jugendlichen vermittelt.
(2) Netzwerk. Durch das diverse Netzwerk werden Jugendliche mit verschiedenen sozialen Hintergründen vernetzt.
(3) Mentorenprogramm. Mentoren fördern die Jugendlichen individuell in ihrer Entwicklung.
(4) Stipendien. Eine finanzielle Unterstützung in Höhe von 100€ monatlich ermöglicht den Jugendlichen neue Freiheiten auf ihrem Weg.
