www.employed.world is a social enterprise with the purpose of helping job seekers get their first job faster. We are currently working with companies to create more entry-level UX positions to support the job seeker community and work with the other actors in the system, like Mentors, Universities, bootcamps, and the government.
It's an ambition project of its founder, Yashvir. He was inspired to work on this problem after understanding the depth of the issue while researching on his Master thesis about the impact of digital tools and training on global unemployment and underutilisation.
Its a fact that the IT world lacks leadership and Senior talent, a.k.a highly skilled manpower. But we know a secret, this problem is rather a symptom of a larger issue in the system. The problem of lack of entry-level job opportunities and now increasing entry barrier for juniors to get their first job, thus gradually reducing the Senior talent pipeline. (Imagine a junior job vacancy asking for multiple years of experience. thank you, you got the point)
We are taking this hypothesis and conducting user research with Startups and Medium-sized companies to understand and gather insights and develop solutions to make it easier for them to create, hire, and retain more entry-level positions in Germany across industries.
