Energy Network Norway (ENN) - is a non for profit organization that are facilitating the development of Technology for Distribution and Use of Hybrid Energy Solution with Liquified Natural Gas, Solar, Wind, Batteries and Hydrogen.
The Norwegian companies have showed practical efficient installation of LNG systems and, it is important to utilize this advantage in the international competitions that we see is coming up. At the same time the hybrid solutions, including hydrogen and batteries based on solar and wind power gives new interesting opportunities and combinations for clients world wide. This will be an important contribution to countries where Green Energy solutions are requested.
The project is initiated by a group of Norwegian companies delivering equipment, systems and services in the LNG and energy sector. Specially focus is on small scale distribution where Norwegian competence has played a significant role in the technology development for reduction of emission to air of CO2, NOX, SOX and particles.
The main objective of this network is to create a larger value creation for a cluster of companies and to contribute to reduce the carbon and other environmental gases footprint by using an optimal combination of energy sources for power production, reducing use of coal and diesel oil, and in the transport sector, reducing use of sulphur containing heavy fuel oil and diesel oil.
The international market is opening for new environmentally friendly solution and use of LNG has been the first step on the way and a part of the energy mix to a cleaner energy society.
