Nach 14 Jahren in der Informatikbranche, sehnte ich mich nach Natur, Wetter, Bewegung und «mehr als Umsatz und Papier zu produzieren».
Ich entschied mich für eine Zweitausbildung als Winzer und durfte meine Lehre in der Bündner Herrschaft bei Ueli + Jürg Liesch in Malans (www.liesch-weine.ch) beginnen. Es folgte ein sehr spannendes 3. Lehrjahr bei Urs Zweifel in Zürich-Höngg. Dann kamen einige Jahre im Aargau, danach fand ich bei Toni Ottiger in Kastanienbaum LU einen Vorzeigebetrieb mit herausragenden Weinen und einem tollen Team im Raum Luzern/Zentralschweiz (www.weinbauottiger.ch)
Von Mai 2012 bis Mai 2017 war ich als Winzer und Kellermeister in Wettingen angestellt und kelterte jedes Jahr rund 25ha Trauben (aller Produzenten aus Wettingen)!
Mit meinem Mut und der Offenheit zu Neuem und qualitativ hochstehendem Wissen, durfte ich etliche Auszeichnungen und Ehrungen meiner ENGEL Weine entgegennehmen (AWC Wien).
Die neuen ENGEL Kreationen reifen in Ennetbaden und versprechen Aussergewöhnliches und können ab sofort verkostet und bestellt werden. Lassen Sie sich überraschen!
