In Berlin leben tausende, teils internationale Künstler*innen, die ihre Ateliers hier haben, hier arbeiten und ausstellen. Ihre Werke werden in Galerien gezeigt, von Kunstsammler*innen gekauft, auf Messen bestaunt. In dieser Vielfalt liegt ein unerschöpfliches Potenzial, das aber nur selten außerhalb der Kunstwelt und den gängigen Gesellschaftsstrukturen genutzt wird. Zudem gibt es eine Vielzahl an Kindern, die bisher wenig oder gar keinen Kontakt mit Kunst hatten und in ihrem Alltag kaum Raum für eigene Fragen und Bedürfnisse haben. Mit Ephra verbinden wir zwei Aspekte, Kindheit und Kunst, damit sie sich gegenseitig bereichern. Wir unterstützen Kinder, sich ihren freien Blick auf die Welt zu erhalten und ermuntern Künstler*innen, sich dem Blick der Kinder zu öffnen. Wir gehen die Probleme der Gesellschaft im Kern an, fordern zum Dialog auf und stärken Kinder durch Kunst und emotionale Bildung. So werden die Kinder ermutigt, zu selbstbewussten Gestalter*innen der Zukunft zu werden.
