Der Bundesverband Equal Care e.V. - in Gründung - (vormals Initiative Equal Care Day) steht seit 2016 für wirkmächtige Kampagnen, für den kommunalen bis internationalen Netzwerk-Aufbau, für innovative, niederschwellige Veranstaltungskonzepte (Care-Landschaft, ECD-Festival, Marktplatz-Live-Schalte...) und für das Empowerment von Betroffenen

Ziel des Bundesverbandes Equal Care e.V. ist der Zusammenschluss im Anliegen „mehr Sichtbarkeit und Wertschätzung und eine faire Verteilung der Kümmer-, Sorge- und Versorgungsarbeit” (= CareArbeit), mit gleichgesinnten Partner*innen bzw. lokalen Care-Bündnissen mit dem Ziel, Kräfte zu bündeln und #gemeinsamlauter, d.h. durch
gemeinsame Projekte, Veranstaltungen und Maßnahmen, aufzuklären, Betroffene zu empowern, Forderungen zu formulieren und Öffentlichkeit zu generieren.
Das ehrenamtliche Remote-Team verantwortet und organisiert gemeinsam mit klische*esc e.V. unter anderem den von Almut Schnerring & Sascha Verlan initiierten, jährlichen Aktionstag 'Equal Care Day' und das Equal Care Day-Festival und lädt Bündnispartner*innen und Gleichgesinnte ein zur gemeinsamen Planung und Umsetzung.
