Esnaf ve Sanatkarlar Derneği (ESDER), 1997 yılında kurulmuştur. Yurt içinde 21 şubesi, yurt dışında 5 temsilciliği mevcuttur. 10.500 üyeli esnaf ve sanatkârın sivil manada tümünü temsil eden tek sivil toplum kuruluşudur. Amacımız; Türkiye Cumhuriyeti anayasa ve kanunları doğrultusunda Ahilik ahlakı doğrultusunda Türkiye’nin ve Türk toplumunun, özelde esnaf ve sanatkârların demokratik ve planlı bir düzen içinde kalkınıp, sınai, ticari, sosyoekonomik, eğitim ve kültür düzeyinin gelişmesine, teknoloji, sermaye, proje, alışveriş ve koordinasyonunu sağlayarak daha ileri bir düzeye ulaşmasına yardımcı olmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda;
Kültür alanında; 10 yıldır ülkemizde Ahilik etkinlikleri aslına uygun bir şekilde icra edilmektedir. Bu etkinlikler esnaf ve sanatkârın yanı sıra ilkokul, ortaokul, lise ve üniversiteler ile işbirliği yapılarak öğrencilerimize de Ahilik kültürü uygulamalı olarak anlatılmıştır. Ahilik kültürü ayrıca Balkanlarda sosyal barışın inşasında Ahilik sempozyumuyla Borsa Hersek-Saraybosna, Makedonya-Üsküp, Arnavutluk-Tiran, Kosova-Prizren’de kutlanmıştır.
