Data Centers face what we call a Digital Dilemma.
On one side: there is an exponential growth in the demand for digital services. With the rapid adoption of AI, this growth is accelerating.
On the other side: the industry, consuming electricity worth of about 10 billion EUR annually in Europe, is under regulatory and societal pressure to enhance efficiency and reduce carbon emissions (by 2030). The volatility of energy prices and the struggle of the power grid to meet the surging demand for digital services, are adding to the financial and operational risks.
What is the solution we are offering? Why is it unique and innovative?
Ethernetics tackles the problem ‘at the source’ with the aim to avoid electricity to be used (rather than increase the remediation afterwards). We have designed an Intelligent Power Distribution Unit (PDU) to measure and optimise electricity consumption at the most granular level (= the server socket). We are the only company that actively and real-time adapts the energy need and consumption. Our Intelligent PDU is complementary to the conventional solutions and is easy to deploy (requires no infrastructure investments).
