Een groep onafhankelijke therapeuten, zorgverleners en ervaringsdeskundigen met ieder haar eigen specialiteit, dat is wie wij zijn. Met gebundelde krachten zetten wij ons in om jou te ondersteunen bij het helen na seksueel trauma.
Vanuit onze kennis en ervaring kwamen wij erachter dat één therapievorm vaak niet afdoende is en het veel krachtiger en efficiënter is als bepaalde therapieën worden samengebracht. Een voorbeeld kan zijn een parallel traject van EMDR gecombineerd met een lichaamsgerichte therapie. Het kan natuurlijk ook zijn dat jij aan één therapievorm genoeg hebt.
Ons team is ingericht om een holistische aanpak te creëren en wij geloven er sterk in dat je naast mentale heling, ook lichamelijk en emotioneel moet helen. Wij luisteren naar je en willen samen met jou gaan kijken wat jou het beste gaat helpen. Met meerdere reguliere en complementaire disciplines die nauw met elkaar samenwerken, niet gebonden aan protocollen van zorgverzekeraars, leveren wij behandeling op maat en dat is wat ons onderscheid van andere organisaties.
Jouw eigen regie in een veilige omgeving is wat wij graag willen bieden, zodat je zelf in alle vrijheid kan ontdekken wat jij nodig hebt.

ETST is sinds augustus 2022 officieel een stichting. De oprichters zijn Petra Arts van Embden (Progress for People: psychosociaal counselor/ EMDR therapeut) en Melissa van der Meer (Happy in je Lijf: lichaamsgericht therapeut/ dans- en bewegingstherapeut/ ervaringsdeskundige)
