The Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology is part of the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica of Bucharest, the largest technical university in Romania, and it educates engineers in two main fields: 1. Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, with the following study programs: - Applied Electronics (Romanian & English – EUR-ACE certification) - Telecommunications Technologies and Systems (Romanian & English – EUR-ACE certification) - Telecommunications Networks and Software (Romanian) - Microelectronics, Optoelectronics, and Nanotechnologies (Romanian) 2. Computer Science and Information Technology, with one study program: - Information Engineering (Romanian) The master's programs (accredited by ARACIS evaluation in 2019) follow the same fields as the bachelor's programs. 1. Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, and Information Technology – 23 programs (Romanian or English) 2. Computer Science and Information Technology – 1 program (Romanian) Within the faculty, regarded as a strong research center, there are several traditional and novel research directions. Thus, the ETTI operates seven research centers: CETTI, CCSRST, 3CPS, CCO, LAPI, CeoSpaceTech, EDIL.
