Der Zweck des Vereins ist die unabhängige und uneigennützige Schulung, Qualifizierung und Betreuung von benachteiligten Gruppen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt, Arbeitslosen und Menschen, die von Arbeitslosigkeit bedroht sind, in Bezug auf die Selbständigkeit. Er will damit zur Schaffung und Sicherung von Arbeitsplätzen in Mainz und im Landkreis Mainz-Bingen beitragen.
Neben der Betreuung von Gründungswilligen und Gründer/innen wurden weitere Schwerpunkte gesetzt.
Dazu gehört zum Beispiel eine auf unternehmerisch tätige Frauen ausgerichtete Beratung sowie Coaching. Darüber hinaus haben wir uns zum Ziel gesetzt, ein positives Unternehmer:innen-Bild in Deutschland zu schaffen, um so auch lokal und regional derzeitigen und künftigen Veränderungen besser begegnen zu können.
