European Grain is an innovative agricultural commodity exchange. The exchange has been built to service all participants in agriculture from small farmers to multinational corporations.
Our belief is that market knowledge and transparency is key to sourcing or marketing commodities.
The exchange has been designed in the same style as the old corn exchanges where its free for the majority to list their requirements or request a quote. The agricultural traders pay a small monthly subscription of €79 to view the full detail of the buyer/seller and the product quality specification.
The beauty of the exchange operating in this style is that all users can see who the counter party is and decide who they wish to trade with.
From an international trade point we have just added the functionality which allows companies anywhere in world to register for free and list their commodities for sale or commodities wanted.
All buyers or sellers have the ability to upload their contract's terms and conditions and can communicate directly with the counter party. EuropeanGrain.com is not transactional, there is no commission or brokerage to pay - we are merely the host.
Positioning ourselves as a physical equivalent to NYSE Euronext, we provide information re physical commodities allowing the trade to operate as they choose.
