Europsyche was een landelijk erkende instelling in de GGZ in de tweedelijns zorg welke professionele, cliëntgerichte en toegankelijke hulp bood aan mensen met psychische problemen. EuroPsyche stond voor innovatie in de GGZ. Met haar 100% transparante werkwijze was zij haar tijd ver vooruit. Door gebruik te maken van zelfstandige en intrinsiek gemotiveerde professionals verleende EuroPsyche haar zorg conform alle Spelregels. Maar wel op een (eigen) wijze die volgens de huidige terminologie het beste kan worden omschreven als "het Nieuwe Werken" binnen de gezondheidszorg. De werkwijze van EuroPsyche is bijzonder succesvol geweest. Meer dan 1200 professionals zijn aangesloten geweest bij EuroPsyche, waarbij rondom de 12.000 clienten gebruik hebben gemaakt van de zorg die deze professionals hebben gegeven. Helaas is deze nieuwe vorm van werken te bedreigend gebleken voor de stakeholders. Op 5 juni 2012 heeft zij haar deuren moeten sluiten.
