Evaluation Partners Ltd (EPL) is a management consulting firm based in Kampala, Uganda. The firm conducts Research, Evaluation, and builds Capacity for Organisations in various management functions, and development evaluation for Projects, Programmes, and Policies. The type of evaluations we normally conduct include but aren’t limited to Evaluability Assessment, Needs Assessment, Implementation/Process/Formative Evaluation, Impact/Outcome/Summative Evaluation, Program Review, Efficiency Assessment (Cost/Benefit Analysis or Cost-Effectiveness Analysis) among others. Similarly, we are experienced in managing complex evaluations with cutting edge methodologies, such as Outcome Harvesting (OH), Mixed methods (MM), experimental designs, Web-based data collection methods, as well as applying emergent technologies to complexity-responsive program evaluation from the INGO Perspective.
Evaluation Partners Ltd has trained individuals, independent consultants, and organisations in various research and evaluation activities such as; how to build M&E systems, how to develop evaluation tools and frameworks, how to set up mobile-based data collection platforms like Kobo-collect/Survey CTO, Open Data Kit (ODK). Also customized trainings in how to analyse quantitative data with software such as Excel, SPSS, STATA, Power BI, and Epi-Info have benn conducted.
Cognizant of the need to analyse qualitative data with scientific rigour, we use Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software (CAQDAS) with ATLAS.ti and NVIVO to draw the deeper meaning of qualitative data. Correspondingly, we have conducted over 15 trainings in qualitative data analysis with various stakeholders in various spaces
