EXCELLulose is a biopolymer and clean-tech engineering company that uses a mix of recycled and virgin cellulose to manufacture engineered pulp. We supply our products and I.T. services to manufacturing companies for the production of composite building materials, high-end 3D electronics packaging and molded decor.
Our biopolymer technology allows us to manipulate the chemical properties of lignin in our engineered cellulose, enhancing characteristics of wood fibres to meet our customers needs in composite substrate materials. Our patented process combined with our integrated I.T. automation systems, transform the cellulose fibers into an engineered material that is extremely strong, durable, and behaves in many respects like plastic while being completely biodegradable like paper.
The resulting substrate material is economically viable and environmentally sustainable. It has a wide range of applications and provides consumers with a much needed alternative to conventional plastics, Styrofoam, and non-biodegradable composite materials.
EXCELLulose also specializes in water filtration systems and we offer our clients options to upgrade their manufacturing equipment to a closed-loop water recovery system. Our filtration systems are fully integrated using the latest I.T. carbon offset algorithms, meaning our clients can submit monthly reports to an independent auditor for the verification of carbon tax credits in any of the participating jurisdictions on reducing CO2 emissions and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) protocols in Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
The EXCELLulose management team, engineers and I.T. computer scientists operate out of Vancouver BC, Norrköping Sweden, and Hong Kong.
