Explore.Brussels is a network of associations that organize top-quality guided tours in the Brussels-Capital Region. It was created in 1994 and became a non-profit organization in 2015. The member associations are ARAU, Arkadia, Brussels Chatterguides and Pro Velo; La Fonderie and Korei joined the network as partner associations in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
Explore.Brussels serves as an information hub for these associations, combining their programmes of guided tours for individuals and groups into one centralized resource. Thus, both individuals and groups can find the information they need more easily than by contacting each association separately; moreover, they get access to the full range of themes on offer at no extra cost and without generating unnecessary competition between the associations. The shared objective of all is to promote the tangible and intangible heritage of the Brussels-Capital Region.
Explore.Brussels and its member associations also develop and promote larger events featuring guided tours of interiors that no single association could handle on its own. The annual Brussels Art Nouveau & Art Deco (BANAD) Festival is the best-known such event. Indeed, the specialty of Explore.Brussels is the Art Nouveau and Art Deco heritage of Brussels! But that is not all: we also promote the capital's Neoclassical and Eclectic heritage, and develop multiple related events and projects.
