At the moment, most of the outstanding museum furniture is displayed out of reach behind a security cordon, or locked away in their storage facility. Visitors can only hope to discover their secrets in one of those few specialized books, and yet again superficially.
Only specialists and the privileged few can access and contemplate closely the real beauty of these masterpieces, and grasp their technical complexity.
My wish: Bring forward all these masterpieces and have them accessible for everyone, "in front of the cordon".

They can be used by curators to monitor condition, by researchers for study, or to allow anyone who cannot travel to see the original object to view it in high-resolution through the internet. They can be used to explore different options for restoring objects in a purely virtual setting, without harming the original.
