Der Verein FAIRbund ist ein freier Träger der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe in Leipzig und betreut seit 1993 Kinder, Jugendliche und Familien. Schutz, Beratung und Betreuung zu bieten sowie gemeinsam Krisen zu bewältigen und kompetente Unterstützung bei allen Fragen rund um Familie zu geben sind Ziele des Vereins. Mittlerweile arbeiten mehr als 260 fest angestellte Mitarbeiter in den unterschiedlichen Bereichen des Vereins.
FAIRbund ist eine gemeinnützige Einrichtung mit vielfältigen Angeboten. Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind der Bereich Hilfen zur Erziehung (Tagesgruppe, Wohngruppe, Ambulante Familienhilfen), die Führung von Vormundschaften, Angebote der Familienbildung und Hilfen für Familien mit Neugeborenen, der Betrieb von sechs Kindertagesstätten, Kindertagespflege, Schulsozialarbeit, Projekte mit Partnern in Europa, Erziehungs- und Familienberatung, ein Soziokulturelles Zentrum sowie Projekte mit Ehrenamtlichen. Darüber hinaus betreibt der FAIRbund auf dem Gelände des Budde-Hauses den Inklusionsbetrieb „Biergarten unterm Ginkgobaum“ mit Ausschank und Catering.
