با تصمیم بزرگان فناوری و صنعت بانکی کشور و با هدف یک مشارکت استراتژیک در راستای شکل گیری پلتفرم بانکداری باز ، شرکت فرابوم در سال 1398 شکل گرفت.
فرابوم یک پلتفرم است که در صنعت بانکداری و پرداخت با عنوان Open Banking Platform یا پلتفرم بانکداریباز شناخته میشود. بانکها از طریق ارایه واسطهای توسعه برنامههای نرمافزاری یا همان APIها، امکان نوآوری و خلق محصولات جدید در خارج از سازمان خود را فرآهم می آورند و با ایجاد یک اکوسیستم از توسعه دهندگان استارتاپی، نهادهای ثالث و مشتریان، امکان پیدایش محصولات نوآورانه و فین تک بدون دخالت و سرمایه گذاری مستقیم بانکها را ممکن می سازند.
فرابوم با خلق اثر شبکه ای قوی بین سمت عرضه (سرویسدهنده) و تقاضا (سرویسگیرنده) ، ضمن کاهش هزینههای ایجاد و نگهداری محصولات جدید، موجب می شود زمان رسیدن به محصول هم کاهش قابل ملاحظه ای داشته باشد. هم اکنون فرابوم با ایجاد یک پلتفرم امن توانسته به عنوان تجمیعکننده سرویسها، پیچیدگیها و دشواریهای دریافت سرویس را از بین ببرد و با توجه به دامنه سهامداری و بانکهای طرف قرارداد، به بزرگترین پلتفرم ارائهدهنده سرویسهای بانکداری باز در کشور تبدیل شده است
در حال حاضر فرابوم به بیش از 20 بانک و 10 سرویس دهنده غیر بانکی کشور متصل است و توانسته به بیش از 100 نهاد ثالث و 400 شرکت و استارتاپ سرویسهای خود را ارایه کند
