تهدف فواصل لتعزيز مبادئ المساءلة والمشاركة المجتمعية وسيادة القانون والدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان والعمل على بناء قدرات الشباب والسيدات وإشراكهم في عملية صنع القرارات والسياسات العامة كما تهدف فواصل لتعزيز التماسك المجتمعي وبناء جسور الحوار وتقبل الاخر بين افراد المجتمع.
لدى فواصل رسالة مبنية على أن العدالة في الفرص والتنمية يجب أن تسود على الجميع في كافة الجوانب الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والسياسية وأن العمل التنموي لا يقتصر على العاصمة والمدن الرئيسية بل يجب أن يشمل بدرجة متساوية القرى والأطراف والمناطق الأقل تنمية، حيث يؤمن فريق فواصل أن هنالك الكثير من الشباب والسيدات الذين لديهم طاقات ومواهب كبيرة لم يأخذوا فرص عادلة بسبب عدم الوصول اليهم من قبل الحكومة والعاملين في قطاع التنمية. ومن هنا تم بناء رؤية مؤسسة فواصل والتي نسعى من خلالها الى مجتمع متماسك حاصل على حقوقه وفرصه التنموية بشكل عادل وحكومة مسؤولة منفتحة على مبادئ الشفافية والمشاركة المجتمعية وسيادة القانون.
