Der FC Wallisellen ist finanziell gesund, proaktiv in der Förderung des Ehrenamts, der Jungleiter (1418coaches), der Kleinfeld-Schiedsrichter (Mini-SR), des Nachwuchsfussballs, der kulturellen Integration und der Fairness. Der FC Wallisellen hat 17 Mal in Folge die Auszeichnung als «Vorbildlicher Verein» erhalten, dies als einer von nur 6 von insgesamt 189 Vereinen der Fussballregion Zürich mit Gold-Auszeichnung. Seit 2017 verfügt der FC Wallisellen als einer der ersten Vereine im Breitenfussball der Schweiz über eine ganzheitliche, vereinseigene Spiel- und Ausbildungsphilosophie.
