Der FC Weissenstein ist ein Fussballverein, beheimatet im Weissenstein-Quartier der Stadt Bern.
Gegründet wurde er 1994 durch die Fusion zweier Traditionsvereine auf dem Platz Bern: SC Sparta (*1946) und FC Victoria (*1908).
In seine erste Saison 1994/1995 startete der FCW mit 4 Aktivmannschaften (eine 3.Liga, zwei 4.Liga und eine 5.Liga). Dazu kamen Juniorenteams in allen Kategorien, ebenso Senioren und Veteranen.
Im Frühjahr 2000 scheitert die erste Mannschaft bereits zum zweiten Male in den Aufstiegsspielen zur 2.Liga, obwohl aufgrund einer Modusänderung der Aufstieg praktisch als sicher (zu sicher?) geplant wurde.
Zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte des FC Weissenstein konnten sich in der Saison 2009/20010 die 1. Mannschaft in der zweiten Liga wie auch die 2. Mannschaft in der 3. Liga halte. Ebenso wird der Juniorenbereich kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt.
