Feasty is a new, easy-to-use, mobile application, invitation system that allows a host to plan parties or events, and gives the option to raise money for a cause. When planning an event, hosts can personalize their invitation by including a special photo or video message. After inputting event details, invite guests using phone numbers and email addresses from your contact list. When they receive the SMS text or email, they can then RSVP, comment, donate money, and get on your guest list. With Feasty, altruistic gift giving is a breeze, and there is always A Cause to Celebrate.
From Lane’s own experience as a father, the concept of Feasty was born. Janger pitched his long-time friend and regular attendee of his kids’ birthday, Jeremy Ronceros on the idea and Jeremy immediately came on board.
In the development of Feasty, Janger and Ronceros wanted to learn more about non-profits and decided to start their own. They are co-founder and co-executive directors of Diversity Fest. Diversity Fest, with a volunteer staff and board (no payroll), the plan is to have a yearly concert which promotes awareness and understanding amongst teenagers of all races and genders, and gives them a place to really get to know and appreciate one another.
