A series of events that partners with local organizations to feed hungry people in our communities. We’re on a mission and we want YOU to join us. Raise Awareness For over 10 years we have supported communities to organize initiatives to solve local problems. Our proven processes and methods have accelerated the impact that these communities have had to end homelessness and hunger. Be The Feet 100% of your race entry fee and donations goes to purchasing food to end childhood food insecurity in our county. All of the overhead for the race is covered by our sponsors. These are volunteer-driven events by community members who want to help end food insecurity. Be The Hands Upon finishing your race, each runner/walker has the unique opportunity to pack the food they purchased with their race entry fee. The food is distributed to those in need within a week. You are helping to end hunger in our community TODAY! Our Start The genesis of our idea occurred in Annapolis, MD, where we were stationed. With the military, we traveled the world, seeing the effects of hunger firsthand, and decided to do something about it. We created a race that allowed runners and walkers to complete the race and pack meals for local, hungry children afterward. While there, we hosted five charity races that totaled 1,750 finishers and seven meal packing events—over a million meals were packed and we raised $350,000.
